Hatchienda is a short walk – 300 yards – from Paynes Bay, which is a truly delightful beach with really great swimming, especially in the quiet of the early morning or in the evening as the sun sinks into the ocean.
Walking towards the prestigious Sandy Lane Hotel in the early morning, you can still see fishermen casting nets for bait. You can take a dip in the warm sea as the notion takes you, at the lovely Sandy Lane beach itself, or wait until you walk back to Paynes Bay and swim there before going 'home' for breakfast.
You can enjoy breakfast in the peaceful privacy of Hatchienda's patio, with the fountain gently soothing your urban nerves, and watch a family of monkeys walking along the wall by the gully. You can be awakened sometimes by monkeys clambering about in the mango tree, which drapes itself over the wall from the neighbor's yard.
The villa itself seems to open its arms to welcome you as you enter the patio. It is Spanish in style, with a strong tropical flavor and is furnished in Rattan throughout.
Hatchienda's patio features a fountain, gas barbecue and a bar with icemaker and refrigerator, and is ideal for outdoor living and dining in privacy. The living room has a satellite TV with multiple channels, with a video player. There is also a Yamaha electric piano and a guitar, should you be musical, and stereo equipment with a tape deck and outlet for a CD player.
The large kitchen has a microwave, fridge, electric fry pan (and of course, other cooking equipment), a blender and food processor. There is a counter top stove, and wall ovens. Stainless Steel flatware for eight is provided and Corelle dinnerware. A small monitor TV completes the kitchen's features.
There is a security system, which is simple to use and effective.
The laundry room has full size washer and dryer and a third bathroom is located there.
There are three air-conditioned bedrooms .
| Booking notes: | A 25% deposit is required on booking, balance due 60 days prior to arrival. Where a booking is requested 60 days or less before the client`s arrival date, full payment must be made to secure the booking. If full payment is not made 60 days prior to the arrival of the client, the owner reserves the right to cancel the booking and forfeit the deposit paid.
Deposits are refundable less a 10% administrative fee only if notice is received in writing at least 60 days prior to the date of arrival. Guests are therefore urged to purchase travel insurance.
One week minimum rental period.
Included: Housekeeping Services, Monday thru Friday; cleaning, making beds, laundry.
