Located in the small but sophisticated town of Peymeinade, just 30 km from the Nice Cote D`Azur Airport, 20 km from Cannes and 4 km from Grasse, this lovely traditional house will comfortably sleep six.

The house, Mas Plaisant, is our second home, and is situated on a hill with southwest views overlooking the town of Peymeinade. Peymeinade has a lovely main street with 2 butchers, a fish market, three green grocers, three bakeries, restaurants and many other shops and services.

It is a short drive (4 km.) to Grasse, which is the perfume capital of the world. Cannes is 22 km away and the pretty towns of Antibes, St. Paul de Vence, Tourette sur Loup, and Mougins are all a short drive away. Monaco is 45 minutes to the east, and St.Tropez is about a 1 1/2 hour drive to the west.

The house has two bedrooms each with a large window overlooking the gardens and a double set of French doors opening up either to the pool or the terrace. The family room has a pullout sofa which can be made as a double, or two single beds. It has two double sets of French doors opening up to the patio and pool. The kitchen is large, well equipped and has a breakfast nook that opens to the terrace. The living/dining room has a fireplace and two double sets of French doors opening to the terrace. There is a full bathroom on the upper floor and a large shower room on the lower floor. Each has large windows looking over the gardens. Each floor has a W.C.. A laundry room on the lower floor has a new washing machine and clothes dryer.

The floors in the bed, bath, living/dining, family rooms, and hallway are marble, while those in the kitchen and breakfast nook are ceramic tile. The house will comfortably sleep 6 people on one queen and two double, or one queen, one double, and two single beds.

The pretty terraced gardens have palm, lemon, grapefruit, orange and olive trees, bougainvillea, wisteria, cactus and aloe plants, roses, lilies etc.
